Deborah J. Lewis, Ph.D., A.B.P.P., is a Professor and Director of Training at Midwestern University’s College of Health Sciences Clinical Psychology Program, Glendale, Arizona. Dr. Lewis has co-authored numerous articles and book chapters in the areas of training, ethics, and forensic psychology. She also maintains a part-time private practice in general therapy and forensic assessment.

Dr. Lewis graduated from Pitzer College in Claremont, California where she earned her B.A. in psychology. She earned her doctorate in clinical psychology from the California School of Professional Psychology in Fresno, California. Her clinical psychology internship and post-doctoral fellowship was completed at University of Virginia Health Sciences Center and she trained in forensic evaluation at the Institute of Law, Psychiatry and Public Policy at the University of Virginia.
