Kiran Amin, Ph.D., earned his Ph.D. in clinical psychology from McGill University in Montreal, Canada, and completed his post-doctoral fellowship in clinical neuropsychology at Barrow Neurological Institute in Phoenix. He specializes in performing clinical and forensic neuropsychological assessments for plaintiffs and defendants, including depositions and expert witness testimony; personal injury; guardianship/conservatorship; capital cases; fitness for duty; and disability cases.
Dr. Amin's research and development background includes the computerized version of the Digit Memory Test for effort testing; Barrow Neurological Institute’s Screen for Higher Cerebral Functions; and the Culture Fair Assessment of Neurocognitive Abilities.
In addition to his professional work, Dr. Amin has been teaching at the graduate level for more than a decade. His academic expertise include introductory and advanced neuropsychological assessment; statistics and research methods; cognitive assessment; objective personality assessment; medical psychology; geropsychology; social psychology; and history and systems of psychology.
