Tiffany Kirby, R.N., C.F.N., SANE-A, SANE-P, is a Certified Forensic Nurse (CFN) who specializes in interpersonal violence and sexual assault. She is also certified as a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, Adult/Adolescents (SANE-A) and a Sexual Assault Nurse Examiner, Pediatrics (SANE-P)—one of only two certified SANE-P nurses in the State of Arizona.
Nurse Kirby's professional background includes training National Guard/Independent Duty Medical Technicians for remote location medical-forensic examinations, and she is an instructor for the SANE-A course for Scottsdale Healthcare, where she also serves as a Forensic Nurse Examiner. Her work with Coyote Crisis/Mass Casualties was part of Maricopa County's emergency preparedness in collaboration with Federal Bureau of Investigations and Medical Examiners office. She has consulted on Sex Crimes/Violent Crimes with several police agencies.
Nurse Kirby earned her A.A. in nursing from Glendale Community College (Phi Beta Kappa), and is currently enrolled in the B.S./M.S. program in nursing at University of Phoenix. Her professional affiliations include the American College of Forensic Examiners International and International Association of Forensic Nurses.
